Angela M. Johnson is Chief Executive Officer of Manning Regional Healthcare Center in Manning, Iowa, an operation that includes a hospital, long term care facility and substance abuse recovery center.
Prior to being named Chief Executive Officer, Angela served as Director of Planning for Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa, where she was responsible for strategic planning, business development and government relations.
Angela also served as business development manager for the Iowa Foundation for Medical Care and is a former emergency department and critical care nurse at Iowa Methodist Medical Center and Iowa Lutheran Hospital.
A graduate of Mercy College of Health Sciences, Des Moines, with an associate degree in nursing, University of St. Francis, Joliet, IL, with a bachelor of science degree in health arts, Angela is currently completing her masters degree in healthcare administration at Des Moines University.
Angela resides in West Des Moines with her daughter Katie, a graduate of Valley High School and student at the University of Iowa. Outside of family, Angela's interests include health and wellness, community involvement and sports.
