WDMLA Alumni Opportunities
Create long-term benefits with your involvement in Academy alumni activities.
The Academy graduates up to 30 emerging leaders each year, making for an impressive alumni pool within just a few years. To that end the Academy has begun developing opportunities for alumni to connect, share ideas and learn from one another long after their graduation ceremony has passed.
As the Academy develops there will be more benefits for alumni, but the current benefits include ways to stay connected and communicate with one another.
E-mail and class mailing list
All Academy members are given an e-mail address during their class year, and this address is maintained indefinitely. Alumni always have a direct line of communication not only to their classmates but also to other alumni. Class mailing lists are also set up so an e-mail to an entire class is simple and easy.

All Academy members are given their own permanent space on the wdmleaders.org website. Alumni can be found if you know their first initial and last name:

Alumni lunch club
A lunch club has been created for Academy alumni to get together for business and camaraderie. Click here for more information.
Social media
The Academy maintains a presence on LinkedIn and Facebook for business and personal connections. The LinkedIn group is open only to alumni, committee members and board members, and offers discussions and message board postings among alumni.
The Facebook page is a personal page dedicated to bringing alumni together on a personal level. Photos, leadership and business resources, comments and personal notes can be published for other Academy alumni to see and enjoy.
