Class of 2009

Jeff Blosser, AIA is a Partner and Architect with RDG Planning & Design in Des Moines. RDG is a multidisciplinary design firm with offices in Omaha, Ames, and Ft Myers FL. During the13 years at RDG Jeff has worked on a variety of projects and project types while maintaining a focus on educational and collegiate project types.

Jeff received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Iowa State University’s Department of Architecture. In 2002 Jeff graduated from the Greater Des Moines Transformational Leadetrship Institute. Jeff enjoys volunteering for the Iowa Architectural Foundation, AIA Iowa and has participated in many Career Days, World of Choices, Fine Arts Days, and School to Work Programs for the Des Moines, West Des Moines, and Waukee School Districts. In 2009 Jeff will serve as the “Artist in Residence” for Western Hills Elementary in West Des Moines developing a permanent installation that will incorporate 500 individual student works.

Jeff resides in West Des Moines with his wife Jill and is an active member of St. Francis of Assisi. They have three children, Logan 13, Lauren 11, and Libby 7. In his free time Jeff enjoys running, cycling, working out, and participating in the great Iowa traditions of RAGBRAI, Dam to Dam, Des Moines Half Marathon, Living History Farms Race, and the Red Flannel Run.
