Jamie Schug
Class of 2010
Jamie Schug is Chief Financial Officer at Des Moines Area Regional Transit (DART). Jamie was previously Budget Manager for the City of West Des Moines. Jamie was a member of the inaugural classes of both the West Des Moines Police Citizens Academy in 2002 and the West Des Moines Fire Citizens Academy in 2005.
Jamie is a member of the United Way of Central Iowa’s Women’s Leadership Connection (WLC) serving on the WLC Investment Committee. She supports its mission of providing quality early childhood education and childcare so children in our most vulnerable communities are prepared to start kindergarten.
Jamie was born and raised in Spencer, Iowa. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Iowa State University in 1996 and a Masters of Business Administration from Drake University in 2002.
Jamie and her husband Jeff were married in 1997. They have a son, Holden who was born in 2006. Jamie and Jeff are members of the Iowa State University Order of the Knoll Campanile Society. Aside from cheering on the cyclones, Jamie enjoys running, reading and spending time with family and friends.
