WDM Leaders

Melissa Ness has worked in the accounting and tax field since 1999.  She joined Merit Resources, Inc as their Controller in 2007 and oversees the accounting and tax department.  At Merit and in her previous employment, Melissa is focused on budgeting, forecasting, compliance and internal processes.

Melissa graduated from Iowa State University with her degree in Accounting.  She is involved with Young Professionals Connection, ISCPA and the Youth Ministry Program at St Pius X Church.  Melissa's interests include spending time with her family and running.  She and her husband, Kurt, live in Ankeny with their two children, Stella and Troy.
