Selection of WDMLA Participants
Who should participate?
Any adult (age 21 or older) who lives, works, or has an interest in the betterment of West Des Moines is invited to apply for admission in the West Des Moines Leadership Academy. Qualified applicants shall have demonstrated leadership capabilities in the public, private or religious sector, and show a sincere interest in improving professionalism and becoming a more active participant in the future of West Des Moines.
Attendance of all classes is very important. Only those applicants willing to commit the time and energy to making their leadership academy experience a success should apply.
Limited enrollment
In an effort to maintain the highest possible standards, class enrollment is limited to 30 leaders representing a cross-section of the business community. Applicants are asked to submit an application form, resume, and names of two references to ensure they will benefit from the program.
