Lynn McRoberts is the Finance Assistant for Governor Terry Branstad’s Gubernatorial Campaign. In this role, Lynn is responsible for the day-to-day finances of the campaign and is a part of the Governor’s fundraising team, overseeing various fundraising projects and coordinating campaign fundraising events.
Previously Lynn worked at the West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce as the Communications Assistant. Lynn has spent the last three and a half years in local, state and federal political campaigns in the state of Iowa. She served as an intern in the Office of Presidential Scheduling and Appointments in the White House during the summer of 2008 and worked for Senator McCain prior to the Iowa caucuses and the Michigan primary. She graduated from Drake University with a degree in Political Science in December of 2008.
Born and raised in Kansas, Lynn moved here for college and has decided to make West Des Moines home. She is an active member of Lutheran Church of Hope-CityBranch. In her limited free-time, she enjoys scrapbooking, hanging out with friends and attending as many University of Kansas football and men’s basketball games as possible.
