Travis Ripperger

Travis Ripperger is a Systems Analyst at Hy-Vee Inc. Hy-Vee is a grocery store that begun operations more than 75 years ago. Hy-Vee currently has 226 stores in the Midwest states of Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Hy-Vee is ranked among the top 30 supermarkets in the nation. Travis joined Hy-Vee in 1998 as a computer programmer. Travis manages several projects involving retail level applications. During his 11 years, Travis has been involved with some of the most critical applications that Hy-Vee has written, such as the Computer Assisted Reordering System (CARS) and the Retail Pricing Management (RPM) applications.
Travis received his Associates degree from Indian Hills Community College in 1998. Travis is a current member of the Iowa SQL Server Users Group. Being an avid runner, Travis often participates in events to raise money for different causes in his community. Travis has volunteered for various activities including the Hy-Vee Triathlon that supports Variety The Children’s Charity. Travis is an active member of Lutheran Church of Hope in West Des Moines.
Travis resides in Waukee with his wife Julie of 5 years. They have two children, Lexie, 2 and Kyler, 5 months. When Travis isn’t chasing the youngsters around, he enjoys running, reading and golfing. Last but certainly not least, Travis is a huge Hawkeye fan and often attends football games at Kinnick Stadium.
